A very busy month is in the books as March fades to April. March is the start of a new season for the music business, and I do mean the industry. St Pat week was loaded with work for both the band and solo shows. Easters very early arrival jammed up an already busy time with a solo show at Yanni’s Too for Easter Sunday brunch. St Pat’s day proper was spent at the Midtown and was augmented with Irish dancing from Cathy Engle’s (Garden Grill Fame) daughter Rory and her friend. We finished out the month at Broadway Joes for a NCAA Hockey Finals show. My old friend Pat came in from Syracuse to root for Clarkson, which didn’t help. Not much else this month with a slow time in state gov’t and the war turning the corner and settling into the inner circle of hell.
